For a long time the development of digital content for gaming and for cinema belonged to two different worlds.

Nowadays traditional Green Screens are giving way to INTERACTIVE LED WALLS, with 3D virtual environments, called volumes, projected in Real-Time.

For the creation of this virtual set BeGames uses Unreal Engine and Disguise with the innovative XR system, as a demonstration of how close 3D cinema and gaming technologies have come together to improve the efficiency of their productions.

This is a REVOLUTION THE DEVELOPMENT PIPELINE of cinema productions as 3D content is usually added and worked with in post-production but are now brought forward to the pre-production phase to offer full control on results as most of THE WORK IS DONE DIRECTLY ON SET.

This also leads to a DEEPER IMMERSION FOR DIRECTORS AND ACTORS who can move within the virtual scenery and modify it in real-time as needed.

BeGames proposes the first course in Europe to train students in this new technology, thanks to an important and basic partnership with Disguise, creators of the necessary software for this technique to be projected flawlessly.

Disguise is our partner in the creation of the training program, each student at the end of the course will receive the DISGUISE EXPERT CERTIFICATE.

Unreal Engine is the graphic engine that will be used to create content during the whole course. This avant-guard software is the step that allows the virtual world to come to life. Within Unreal, from programming with BluePrints, to studying VFXs and Shaders will then let students focus on the use of cameras to move within the real time managed 3D environments (volumes) they will have created for Virtual Production

MAYA

Autodesk Maya, the reference software for creating 3D models and animations, is also used as a standard within the video game industry. Students will take the first steps within the program and develop capabilities to create complex models and animations that can be used in a 3D game
